Both. Indian merchants are billed in INR; international merchants in USD. Geo-detection happens automatically — there's no toggle. We use Razorpay for payments, which supports both currencies.
We capture only what's required to attribute orders to traffic sources — hashed email and phone, visitor cookie, page URLs, and Shopify webhook payloads. Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. We comply with Shopify's protected customer data requirements and respond to GDPR data-request and erasure webhooks.
Largely yes. The pixel is served from your own first-party subdomain (cdn.followthespend.com), which bypasses most blocklist filters. Shopify webhooks are server-to-server and unaffected by client-side blockers, so your conversion data stays accurate even when storefront events are blocked.
We capture the conversion via Shopify webhooks regardless of checkout method. Session-level attribution (which traffic source drove the order) is limited for express-checkout flows that bypass the cart entirely — Shopify's dynamic checkout buttons skip the JavaScript hooks attribution depends on.
