Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Follow The Spend ("FTS", "we", "us"), operated by Inforah Private Limited. By creating an account or using FTS you agree to these Terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to bind that business.

1. Who can use FTS

FTS is built for businesses operating a Shopify store. You must be at least 18 and authorised to enter into contracts on behalf of your business.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in credentials secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, email us at hello@followthespend.com.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Plans: Starter, Growth, Scale (self-serve) and Enterprise (custom).
• Currency: INR for shops whose Shopify billing currency is INR; USD for all others. Determined automatically by Shopify and locked for the life of the subscription.
• Billing: the Service is sold through the Shopify App Store and billed via the Shopify Billing API. Charges are added to your monthly Shopify bill; we do not directly process card payments.
• Billing cycle: monthly in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• Free trial: every first-time account gets 14 days of full feature access. Re-subscriptions do not include a fresh trial.
• Included orders + overage: each plan includes a monthly order quota. Orders beyond the quota are billed per-order at the plan's overage rate, capped per cycle at a tier-specific maximum (default 5× plan base). You can adjust this cap from your Shopify admin.
• Cap reached: if your accrued overage reaches the cap, tracking pauses for the remainder of the cycle and resumes automatically when the new cycle begins. Upgrading to a higher tier resumes tracking immediately.
• Payment failures: if Shopify reports a charge failure, the subscription enters a frozen state and tracking pauses until you resolve the payment method in your Shopify admin.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your billing settings or directly from your Shopify admin. Cancellation through Shopify takes effect immediately. No partial refunds for unused time within the cycle.

5. Refunds

All paid cycles are non-refundable once charged. This applies to every plan (Starter, Growth, Scale, Enterprise) in both INR and USD pricing, regardless of feature usage.

We make refunds at our discretion only in these cases:

• (a) duplicate charges from a billing-system error;
• (b) charges applied after a valid cancellation was processed;
• (c) service unavailability caused by us exceeding 72 consecutive hours within a billing cycle;
• (d) where applicable law requires a refund.

Chargebacks. Before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please email hello@followthespend.com so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account termination.

Where a refund is approved, it's returned to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.

6. Shopify integration

By connecting your store you authorise FTS to read your order data, install the IQPix tracking script on your storefront, and register webhooks under the permissions you approve. You can disconnect anytime from your Shopify admin. Disconnecting stops further data collection; it does not automatically delete already-collected data (see our Privacy Policy for retention).

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use FTS to track visitors in violation of applicable privacy laws or your store's own privacy policy
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with our infrastructure
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label FTS without our written consent
• Use FTS for any unlawful purpose

8. Your data is yours

You own the data collected from your Shopify store. We process it only to deliver the Service and never sell or share it with advertisers. We may use aggregated, anonymised data (where no individual store or visitor can be identified) to improve FTS.

9. Service availability and accuracy

FTS is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for high uptime but make no SLA in v1.0. Attribution involves inherent limitations (ad-blockers, cross-device gaps, express-checkout flows that bypass our hooks), we don't warrant 100% accuracy.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is capped at the total fees you've paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost goodwill.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use FTS in a way harmful to others. On termination, your data is retained for 30 days then deleted, unless law requires longer.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes go to the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are notified by email or in-dashboard banner at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of FTS after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
